The Process of Choosing A Brand New Kitchen - How to choose what's best for you

Custom kitchen cabinets are one of the most expensive and important items that go into a custom home. Consequently, it is important to know during the Kitchen Cabinet design phase what types of cabinet options are available.

1. How to get started – take room dimensions – including ceiling height. Within these dimensions put in sizes of windows, doors or opening (measure from outside moulding to outside moulding).

2. Things to consider – What type of appliances are you looking at – cook top – gas/electric, single or double wall ovens, free standing range, microwave hood unit, refrigerator size, sink style – drop in, under mount, farm sink.

  • What style, finish and wood type what color of hardware – hinges, pulls, knobs.
  • What type of counter top do you want.
  • What about installation or delivery only, or are you picking up and installing yourself.

3. Call for an appointment to visit our showroom and to sit down with our designers.

4. You will receive a quote and perspective views of your kitchen, etc.

5. To place an order – a contract is signed and deposit check or cash (no credit cards) is required – Cabinets will be completed in 4-6 weeks
